Costumes this year on The Masked Dancer UK include the Pearly King, Pillar and Post, and Scissors, and host Joel Dommett has dropped a major hint about the identities of two celebrities.
This year on The Masked Dancer UK, host Joel Dommett has dropped a major indication about the identities of two celebrities.
The new season of the ITV guessing game will premiere on September 3, and host Joel has already revealed the identity of two of the celebrities who will be appearing on the show. Other returning cast members include Peter Crouch, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Oti Mabuse.
With a new high of 13 A-list celebrities hidden behind masks, viewers will be eager to find out who they really are when the show resumes. A wide variety of costumes are available, such as the Pearly King, Pillar and Post (the first duo), Scissors, and many more.
But Joel has revealed a crucial piece of information about two of the celebrities, which could help the audience figure out who it is later on!
At the ITV Autumn Entertainment Launch in west London, Joel told The Mirror and other media, “Definitely there are some international talents!” There are two that immediately come to mind that is enormous. It completely blew my mind that they showed up.
More individuals may be visiting now that travel restrictions have been loosened. A little number can’t be denied. Honestly, I gasped. Because of their presence, I felt like a fangirl. Truly, it was incredible.
Even I, he said, was engaged in constant conversation with other individuals. After the big reveal, I was all “Oh my god, I was holding your hand and hugging you!” because I had been holding their hand and hugging them.
While they may not be the best dancers, Joel and his friends are “truly enjoying” their experience, and the crowd has been, too.
“Pearly King is, without a doubt, my favourite. They do a fantastic job and commit to their full character. Amazing, and what makes this show so great is that it’s not a talent show in any conventional sense, he remarked.
“You can be a great singer or dancer, but Pearly King isn’t the finest dancer by a country mile, but he’s embracing it and courting the crowd, he’s really loving it, and I believe that can get you really far,” said a critic.
The more you love it, the more people will appreciate seeing you,” he continued. It’s a great time.
On September 3 at 6 pm, The Masked Dancer UK is back for a second season on ITV.
