Myleene Klass is a British singer, pianist, model and media personality who rose to fame as a member of the pop group Hear’Say in 2001. She has since pursued a successful solo career in music and television, hosting shows such as Popstar to Operastar, The One Show and BBQ Champ. She is also a regular presenter on Smooth Radio and Classic FM.
Early Life and Education
Myleene was born on 6 April 1978 in Gorleston, Norfolk, to an Austrian father and a Filipino mother. She began playing the piano at four and later learned the violin and harp. Ms Klass attended St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School in Lowestoft and then Notre Dame High School in Norwich, where the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music awarded her a scholarship. She also studied voice at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music.
