A source in Moscow’s military elite has stated that the embattled Vladimir Putin will not be allowed to resort to nuclear weapons in response to his failing invasion.
A leading analyst has indicated that Moscow’s military establishment is unlikely to give Vladimir Putin permission to launch nuclear weapons in his faltering war against Ukraine.
According to the British source, who advises governments on Russia, the President would face an insurrection and precipitate a Kremlin takeover if he pushed for a strike.
According to the insider, “a military rebellion is the most likely end for Putin’s authority.”
According to the source, the elite in the Kremlin think the tyrant’s nuclear threats are effective leverage against the West right now.
However, senior commanders are likely to revolt and mobilise against the Kremlin if Putin orders an actual strike, effectively compelling him to resign or be assassinated.
An additional quote from the source reads as follows: “When faced with Putin’s irresponsibility and the need to prevent the use of nuclear weapons, the military are most likely to launch a coup to overthrow him.
Putin’s Presidential Administration of acolytes, ex-KGB agents, and ex-military led by Evgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin are the second most likely group. They believe his threats to use nuclear weapons have been effective thus far.
The source claims that Putin’s 61-year-old friend Prigozhin, also known as Putin’s Cook due to the fact that his high-end catering service has served Putin, will take over the position.
However, he formed the mercenary Wagner Group, also known as “Putin’s own army,” and has intimate ties to Moscow GRU spooks.
“public uprisings, chaos, insurrection, and breakaway by Siberia, the far east, and the far north areas” are also viable conclusions.
Experts in the military think Putin is contemplating special forces operations on Western infrastructure, akin to the breaches of the Nord 1 and 2 gas pipelines.
Bruce Jones, a Russia expert analyst, has stated: “In a sense, Russian forces are more proficient at this sort of special forces operation than at the difficult large scale invasion of Ukraine.”
Putin said yesterday that he has “great regard” for Ukrainians, that he has delayed some reserve deployments, and that he expects the cities of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia to stabilise shortly.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that his country’s armed forces had retaken a number of towns in the four occupied regions.
